Wild Explorers, Surf and ARCADES!!!!!!

To begin with rolling off all the Daily Explorer stuff onto this post, we have a magazine for the serious AJ gamer...though in my opinion the content is not really serious.

Oh, jam, look at the size of that owl talon.

Note: do not get massaged by an owl.

And I'l skip the butterfly post because it has Mira in it. Innapropriate content is not allowed here :D

We do have some Jammers looking for sand, sky, and especially surf.
Jammer Art: Surfing Animals
It may look pretty easy to scratch out a picture of a pet frog and the Summer carnival (which are the next themes) but really it takes a long hunk of time to draw a line that looks right. So don't judge and don't give up on the challennge.

Today's main topic is about our homely arcade...and how to make one.

As you all know, we all love to play and play and play games.

Some of our favorites is the virtual world ones, thus drawing us to:
Note: if you don't play this game then I'll politely ask you to GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THIS SITE.

Ahem. Where was I? Oh yes, virtual world games.

No matter how much we like our virtual world games, it's obviously more fun if we had extra mini games in it too.

Which lead to the creation of "arcades".

There's usually one in every virtual world there is. AJ is different because not only do they have one in a separate place but they scatter the games around in different habitats and make the location approriate (such as Swoopy Eagle sneaking in some high owl-and-eagle ony places), not mentioning that in a few your animal actually gets to play as well.

Anyways, where's that specific spot in Jamaa where all the games exist?

The homely common place in Jamaa called...

the Sol Arcade.
The Sol Arcade is a space themed world, and like visiting a new planet, you gain entry by a rocket ship. In Jamaa, we see it as a dorky little ship waiting for us to come in.
But once you enter this ship then you hear the clatter of gems hitting the insides of the game machines...and the little beeps and funky music chiming in with the laser noises slowly turn on.

I believe this arcade is considered charming and creative due to the little touches AJ put into it, including the lights continulously blinking and flashing around the interior...even to the boards covering up most of the holes in the rocks.

Besides that, the walls are lined with stars and even a few comets, and the floor is carpeted with what reminds me of a killer case of chicken pox.

Another cool thing is the realistic purple rocks. All these things are taken for granted after a while of playing AJ.

Now here's the fun part: making your own arcade! This requires alot of work and diamonds/gems just to get it started up, besides membership so you can get the den, but its all worth it if you worked hard enough and invite people over so they can admire your creativity.

What you will begin to need is:

  • the Sol Arcade den. Its located in the diamond shop den list, where you can get it for 5 diamonds.
  • EVERY SINGLE ARCADE GAME IN THE REAL THING. One of the easy ways to get it is buying every arcade machine in the little space shuttle right next to the front of the Sol Arcade launch pad, and also Swoopy Eagle and Phantom Invasion from the Diamond Shop. To make it as accurate as possible, you should also get the Rare Claw Machine, which can only be aqquired the hard way.
How to make the Ultimate Sol Arcade Den
  1. You should try to edit your Sol Arcade den. The con about this den is that compared to the real Arcade it makes it look more animated and plain.
  2. Try fitting every arcade game you have into the correct position. Using reference pictures and/or a spare character, carefully place all the machines where it belongs.
  3. There will be empty spaces where the space exhibit lies and the Sol Arcade shop. Fill that in with something that fits in with the theme. For example, in the space where the exhibit should be, replace it with a meteorite on display from the Deep Space, etc.

See ya guys!
